How can I prepare my child for starting nursery?

All children are unique and the amount of time that a child takes to settle into our Nursery can vary enormously. Therefore, children will be given time to settle in at their own pace, so as to make them feel welcome, safe and confident in a new environment. We encourage parents to help during this time.

How much are your nursery fees, and how do we pay?

2 years £6.25 per hour, 3-4years olds £5.75 per hour. You will be invoiced at the start of each month and can pay via ParentPay.

What are your times of opening?

The nursery is open from 8am-3pm Monday to Friday term time only.

What do I need to provide?

What do I need to provide?
We ask parents to provide a  bag with a change of clothes, we also ask for a supply of nappies and wipes. The children are able to freeflow outside whatever the weather so it is good if they come to nursery in appropriate clothing. You are very welcome to bring your child’s comforters e.g. Dummies. Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled.

When does the nursery close?

The nursery is open term time only and closes weekends and Bank Holidays.

Will my child have a keyworker?

We have a ‘Partnership of Choice’ for the key worker system, we have linked staff with children who have built relationships or are requested by the parent/carers. Keyworkers are responsible for keeping Learning Journeys up to date and assessing their development, all staff will be involved in making observations and working on individual next steps.
